Our Passion for Accessible Travel
Hi This is Kaori, the founder of Field Trip+. My journey into accessible tourism was sparked by meaningful encounters with diverse guests—travelers using ASL, wheelchair users, children with neurodiversity, and families with triplets. Each guest taught me that true hospitality means breaking down invisible walls so everyone can share the joy of discovery.
As a mother of twins, I spent years navigating the world with a double stroller, facing the barriers, physically and mentally. Having also experienced life on wheelchairs and crutches due to an injury, I know firsthand how a lack of accessibility can limit one’s world. On the other hands, I was deeply moved by the countless people who offered a helping hand so naturally, even they don't think they helped, just do what they thought they should.
To provide the best travel service, I joined the training in Universal Tourism and keep learning. We are not perfect, but I am here as your advocate and local friend who are happy to collaborate with you to design a journey.
